a team of six draughtsmen and Engineers
designing all buildings and organising
the production of all architectural
packages for the power island. These
included the 3,500m square turbine
hall, office buildings, workshops,
control buildings, warehousing and
all other associated structures. This
was a Senior role on a very prestigious
development seen as a significant
step for the company, being their
first project of this kind on UK shores.
A strong architectural style was required
to set this power station apart from
several others in the area. Stephen
developed an economical but effective
architectural theme for the whole
of the site.
